Lawrenceville, NJ - Skyline Comissioner Tracy King announced the Skyline Conference weekly honors and among them was rookie of the week selection Jen Ahearn (Cohoes, NY).  

The freshman second baseman  batted .563 (9-for-16) with a double and home run over six games for  the Gators last week. Ahearn was a perfect 4-for-4 with a walk in a split of a Skyline doubleheader with Purchase. She also went 4-for-7 with a double and home run in two games against Skidmore. She is currently batting .365 on the season.

Ahearn and the rest of the Gators return to the field this weekend when they travel to Long Island for a pair of conference games, Saturday they face SUNY Farmingdale and Sunday they face St. Joseph's College.
