Myrtle Beach, SC – The Sage Softball team lost both games in the second day of games in the Snowbird Softball tournament.

In Game one the Gators faced Mansfield University and lost 0-12.  Maria Pasquarelli (Amsterdam, NY) continued her consistency at the plate going 2-2, while newcomer Sara Rysdorphe (Troy, NY) finished 1-2.  

In the second game of the day Sage fell to Sweet Briar College 1-9. Pasquarelli hit her third double of the tournament for her only hit of the game, while Rysdorphe tallied the Gators only RBI on the day. 

Melissa McConville (Loudonville, NY) pitched both complete games for the Gators.

Sage will return to the field tomorrow in the third day of the tournament.  Pasquarelli will enter day three with a .778 batting average.
