RSC men's cross country wraps season at NCAA Regionals

Waterford, CT— Russell Sage College's men's cross country team travelled to Connecticut on Saturday to compete in the NCAA Division III Mid-East Regional Championships hosted by Connecticut College at Harkness Memorial State Park. The Gators finished in 25th place in a highly competitive field of teams.

The men's individual champion was William's Aidan Ryan who posted a time of 24:35.8 to win the 8,000 meter course.

Leading the way for the Gator men's team was junior Joe Degiorgio (Troy, NY/Troy) as he posted a time of 30:02.3 to finish in 127th place.

Graduate runner Holden Maynard (Schenectady, NY/Mohanasen) was next in 140th place in 30:54.9 in his final cross country race of his career.  

Freshman Chad Hicks (New York, NY/Urban Assembly Maker Academy) picked up 166th place in 37:07.8, while rookie Isaac Langer (Hudson, NY/Hudson) was next for the Gators in 167th place with his time of 38:10.1. Senior captain Brett Labier (Albany, NY/Colonie) was next in 1639th place in 39:54.2.
