Gator harriers run at RPI Invitational

Saratoga Springs, NY— Russell Sage College's men's cross country team competed on Saturday at RPI's Saratoga Invitational at Saratoga State Park.  The Gator men picked up a seventh place showing.

Leading the way for the Gator men's team was junior Joe Degiorgio (Troy, NY/Troy) as he posted a time of 30:19.2 and finished in 73rd place for the 8 k distance. Graduate runner Holden Maynard (Schenectady, NY/Mohanasen) was next in 80th place in 31:41.1.

Freshman Chad Hicks (New York, NY/Urban Assembly Maker Academy) was 86th in 34:33.7, while senior captain Brett Labier (Albany, NY/Colonie) was next in 36:13.8 to take 89th. Rookie Isaac Langer (Hudson, NY/Hudson) was next for the Gators in 91st place with his time of 39:03.0.

Vassar won the men's team title with a score of 30 points, bettering the host RPI Engineers who took second with 34 points. RSC racked up seventh place with a score of 204.
