SAGE CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS COMPETE AT 2019 ATLANTIC REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Canton, NY— The Sage Colleges' men's cross country program travelled to the campus of St. Lawrence University to compete in the 2019 NCAA Division III Regional Championships. In the men's race, SUNY-Geneseo also won the championship with a score of 30 beating RPI which finished in second with a score of 57 points. The men's individual crown went to senior Noah Falasco of RPI as he had a time of 25:13.3 for the 8 k course. Sage's men's team was incomplete.

Sage junior Holden Maynard (Schenectady, NY/Mohanasen) finished in 210th place with his time of 29:10.5 in a field of 300 runners racing in the extreme conditions that featured bitter cold and snow on the course from earlier snow this week in Canton.

The race marked the conclusion of the 2019 seasons for the Gators as they did not qualify for the 2019 NCAA Division III Championships.
