Alfred, NY—The Sage Colleges' mens cross country team was in action on Saturday at the Empire 8 Championship hosted by Alfred University at Jericho Hills Field. Despite the terrible conditions, Sage's men's team was represented. Utica won the men's race with a score of 43 points and Sage's men's team was incomplete and did not score.
Sage's lone male runner, junior Jarryd Wick (Ayers, MA/E.F. Parker School) posted a time of 38:00.68 on the 8 k course and finished in 71st place.
Next up Sage will be back in action on November 10 travelling to the 2018 NCAA Division III Regionals, hosted by Rowan University at the Dream Park in Logan Township, NJ.
