Victor, NY – Sage's men's cross country team travelled to the 2017 Empire 8 Championship on Saturday. Nazareth College hosted the 2017 Empire 8 Cross Country Championships Saturday at Parkview Fairways.
Stevens was victorious on the men's side with 23 points, with St. John Fisher (70) second and Utica (78) third. Houghton had 113 points, followed closely by Nazareth (117), Alfred (147), Elmira (205) and Hartwick (208). Sage's men's team was incomplete.
Competing for the men from Sage was sophomore Jarryd Wick (Ayers, MA/E.F. Parker School) and he had a time of 33:25.3 to finish in 60th place at the race.
Next up for Sage is competition on November 11 at the 2017 NCAA Division III Regionals at Houghton College.
