NEWBURGH, NY –Senior captain Juan Reyes-Alvarez (Latham, NY/Shaker) ran to a seventh place finish in a field of 143 runners at the Mount Saint Mary Invitational and posted a time of 29:39.Sage is set to travel to Green Mountain College Sat., Oct. 17. The men will begin at 11:45 a.m.
•Rookie Zack Funk (Gloversville, NY/Gloversville) was next in 31:01, picking up 18th place.
• Also scoring points for the Gators were freshman Jarryd Wick (Ayer, MA/Parker Charter Essential), junior Ian Alejandro (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) and rookie Malik McNeish (Bronx, NY/The Eagle Academy of Young Men) in 66th, 109th and 136th respectably.
• Wick posted a time of 33:37 to finish in 66th, while Alejandro took 109th in 37:06. McNeish took 136th in 45:40.
• The Gator men finished in 11th out of 17 teams. Sage scored 294 points compared to Truett-McConnell's winning 63 points
