New York – Zack Funk was named Skyline Co-Rookie of the Week in Week 2 of the 2015 cross country season.
Funk placed 8th out of 66 runners at the Steven A. Ward Invitational. The freshman was the second Gator to cross the finish line with a time of 30:51.5 at the five-mile course. Sage finished 4th, edging preseason Skyline favorite Mount Saint Mary by one point.
Juan Reyes-Alvarez was named to the Honor Roll for the second week in a row with his 3rd place finish at the Steven A. Ward Invitational. The senior led the Gators with a time of 29:45.4.
The Gators are set to travel to Bard College Raptor Invitational on Sat. Sept. 19. The gun will go off for the men at 12:45 p.m.
