Purchase, NY – The Sage Colleges' men's cross country team were in action on Saturday competing at the Purchase College Invitational. Sage's men's team was incomplete and did not figure into the team scoring. The MCMC won the men's title with their score of 40 in a field of six complete teams.
Sage's men's team was incomplete but had a strong individual showing from junior Juan Reyes-Alvarez (Latham, NY/Shaker) was the individual runner-up posting a blistering time of 29:16.14 for the 8 K course.
Also competing for the Gator men was senior Taylor McMillen (Wynantskill, NY/Averill Park) as he finished 30th overall in 38:59.42.
Sage's is back in action on September 20 travelling to the Bard College Invitational with the men's competition at 1 p.m.
