A two-time letterwinner for Sage’s men’s cross country squad, Anthony Crawford returns for the 2014 season as a graduate performer.

As a member of the inaugural Sage men’s track and field team in 2014, he was named the Gator of the Year as the team’s MVP. He had many top finishes for the Gators over the course of the program’s first campaign.

A former three-sport stand-out performer at Frederick Douglass Academy, he excelled in football, track and lacrosse. A team captain in football, he was selected to compete at the U.S. Army National Football Combine in 2009.

At Sage, he was a Dean’s List honoree as an undergraduate and was named to both the Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team as well as Sage’s Scholar-Athlete Team during his time in a Gator uniform. He is serving as a graduate assistant in the Sage Activities office and is a fourth-year resident assistant. Active on campus, he is Sage’s Green Club class speaker.

He is the son of Anthony Crawford, Sr. and Sheila Johnson and is working on his graduate degree in counseling with a concentration on community psychology and forensic mental health.
