Milton, NY---The Sage Colleges' men's cross country team wasre in action on Saturday afternoon at the Mt. St. Mary College Invitational. The Gator men took seventh in a field of 16 complete teams.
Union won the men's title and had the individual champion as well as Jesse Coull won the 8 k race in 28:12.
For the Gators, sophomore Juan Reyes-Alvarez (Latham, NY/Shaker) picked up third place with a time of 28:39 for the 8 k race.
Junior Josh Myers (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Spa) picked up a 34th place in 31:56. Senior Cory Alvarado (Shokan, NY/Onteora) finished next for the Gators in 41st place in 32:39. Taking 61st place in 36:04 was senior co-captain Bryan Kelly (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley Central).
Junior co-captain Taylor McMillen (Wynantskill, NY/Averill Park) posted a time of 36:55 to take home 69th place for the Gators.
Sage returns to action on October 19 travelling to Green Mountain College for a meet commencing at 11 a.m.
