Gator men take home 11th place at Bard Invitational

Annandale-On-Hudson, NY---The Sage Colleges' men's cross country team competed on Saturday at the Bard College Raptor Invitational. The Gator men took 11th in a field of 22 complete teams.

On the men's side of the event, Middlebury was also victorious with a score of 15 and they too had the first five finishers in the race including individual champion Greg Krathwohl, who had a time of 24:35 for the 8 k course. For the Gators, sophomore Juan Reyes-Alvarez (Latham, NY/Shaker) picked up 14th place with a time of 26:49.

For the Gators, Juan Reyes-Alvarez was the top finisher in 14th place.  Junior Josh Myers (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Spa) picked up a 29th place in 28:12. Senior Cory Alvarado (Shokan, NY/Onteora) finished next for the Gators in 58thth place in 29:52. Junior co-captain Taylor McMillen (Wynantskill, NY/Averill Park) posted a time of 31:41 to take home 85th place. Taking 88th place in 31:51 was senior co-captain Bryan Kelly (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley Central).

Junior Anthony Crawford (Bronx, NY/Frederick Douglass) finished in 117th place in 35:30, while junior James Carroll (Troy, NY/Home Schooled) picked up 118th place in 35:33.

Sage returns to action on October 5 travelling to Mt. St. Mary College for the Knight Invitational.
