Albany, NY—The Sage Colleges' men's volleyball team recently took time out their 2018 season schedule to do some community service. The team and coaching staff travelled to the Albany Habitat for Humanity Restore this morning. The team helped to move items in the store, measure carpets, and assist in the store with inventory management.

Head Men's Volleyball Coach Robert Verhayden and assistant coach Rachel Martin brought the team to the store on Wednesday and spent several hours away from the courts to aid in this worth-while project. Verhayden said of the activity, "It was a unique team bonding experience that helped a great cause right in our back yard." He added, "The team really worked hard as there was a definite need for volunteers and every Gator was put to work on the store.  I was pleased that had meaningful work for every member of the team."
