A newcomer to the team last season, Ryan Kramer connected for 90 kills in 80 sets played in 2012, while helping the team to the Skyline Conference Tournament after opening the season with the Championship title at the Bard College Invitational. Kramer added 21 total blocks with a .203 attack percentage to help the team rank 30^th in Division III with a team .201 hitting percentage after also ranking No. 16 in win percentage with a school-record 17 wins (17-10).

An accomplished student, he was named to the Sage All-Academic Team last year, while also earning a spot on the Skyline Conference All-Academic Team. He was also placed on the inaugural Sage Scholar-Athlete Team for his accomplishments in the Fall of 2012. He is majoring in physical education at Sage. He is the son of John and Mary Kramer. His brother, Sean was a one-time team member of the Staten Island Yankees.
