Coddington continues to break his own school records

Utica, NY– Russell Sage College men's indoor track and field squad was in action Saturday at the Utica University Pioneer Invitational. The team also penned another school record while competing at the event.

Senior John Coddington (Amsterdam, NY/Broadalbin-Perth) finished in third place in the weight throw with his performance of 16.12 meters, breaking his mark of 15.99 meters to shatter his own school records. In the shot put, he was fourth with a throw of 14.28 meters.

Sophomore Isaac Langer (Hudson, NY/Taconic Hills) posted a time of 1:43.22 and picked up 14th place in the 600 meter  run. In the long jump he hit a mark of 4.43 meters and was 22nd.

The Gators finished in 10th place with 14 points in the 12-team field as Cortland State won the team crown with a score of 220.0 points.

RSC will take to the track again in January when they compete at the Middlebury College Winter Classic on January 21.
