ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College junior John Coddington (Amsterdam, NY/Broadalbin-Perth) was named the Empire 8 Conference Field Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sunday, May 1.
He won the shot put at RPI on Saturday with a throw of 14.39 meters. The junior also finished fifth in the discus and hammer throw, bettering his program records in the process.
The Gators compete at the E8 Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday.
