Williamstown, MA –  Russell Sage College's men's and women's outdoor track and field teams traveled to Williams College on Friday for competition at the Williams College Invitational.

Junior captain John Coddington (Amsterdam, NY/Broadalbin-Perth) won the discus had a throw of 38.60 meters to better his own school record. He was fourth in the hammer with his throw of 41.18 meters once again bettering his own school record. He also won the shot put with his mark of 13.21 meters.

In the 5,000 meter run, junior Joe Degiorgio (Troy, NY/Troy) took home fifth place in 16:30.88 and broke the school record with his performance. He bettered the record set in 2013 by Jesus Vasquez-Lopez of 16:35.00. LaBier was next with his time of 20:52.68 and took home sixth place.

Freshman Randal Johnson (East Orange, NJ/East Orange) picked up ninth in the hammer with his throw of 24.36 meters. Johnson also added a mark of 7.78 meters and finished in 8th place in the shot put.

Senior Tyler Mitchell (Bronx, NY/All Hallows) finished in seventh in the 100 meter dash in 11.93 seconds.  Sophomore Christian Harvey-Maloney (Brooklyn, NY/Urban Assembly School) was 12th in the same race with his time of 12.83. In the 200 meter dash, Mitchell picked up 12th in 24.51 and Harvey-Maloney was 15th in 26.18.

In the 800 meter run, rookie Isaac Langer (Hudson, NY/Taconic Hills) finished fourth in 2:29.40. He also took home sixth in the 1,500 meter run in 5:07.71. Senior Brett LaBier (Albany, NY/Colonie) added a time of 5:08.81 and was seventh in the 1,500 meter run.
