Poughkeepsie, NY---The Sage Colleges' men's outdoor track and field team competed on Friday night at the Matthew Vassar College Twilight Meet on the campus of Vassar College, a non-team scored meet held at Vassar.

For Sage's men's team, junior Josh Myers (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Spa) picked up a 11th place finish in the men's 800 meter steeplechase with his time of 2:17.04, while rookie Jonathan McNeil (Bloomfield, CT/Greater Hartford Classical Magnet) added a 12th place finish in 2:24.31.

In the 5,000 meter run sophomore Juan Reyes-Alvarez (Latham, NY/Shaker) picked up a 19th place finish in 16:38.36.

In the high jump, rookie Eric Denny (Scotia, NY/Scotia-Glenville) was second with a performance of 1.83 meters, while he picked up fifth in the long jump with his leap of 6.23 meters.

In the 4 x 100 meter relay, the Gators were fifth in 48.66 behind the work of junior James Carroll (Troy, NY/Home Schooled), junior Anthony Crawford (Bronx, NY/Frederick Douglass Academy), senior Bryan Kelly (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley Central) and junior Taylor McMillen (Wynantskill, NY/Averill Park).

In the 4 x 400 meter relay, Sage was fifth as well as freshman Unique Warren (Harrison, NY/Harrison), junior Oliver Sibilia (Brooklyn, NY/Science Skills Center), junior Ronnie Reed (Harlem, NY/Frederick Douglas Academy II), and Crawford competed and posted a time of 3:52.49.
