Schenectady, NY—The Sage Colleges' men's tennis team hosted the Saxons of Alfred University on Saturday in an Empire 8 match held at Sport Time Tennis Facility. Alfred posted the 9-0 win over Sage to improve to 5-4 overall and 3-2 in the league. Sage drops to 2-8 overall and 0-6 in the league.

Rookie Ryan Burke (Greenville, NY/Greenville) had a tight match for Sage at No. 5 singles, but fell to John Papin, 7-5, 6-4.
