Pine Valley, NY—The Sage Colleges' men's tennis team travelled to face Elmira College on Saturday in the team's Empire 8 opener played indoors. Elmira collected the 8-1 win to improve to 1-7 overall and 1-0 in the league. Sage falls to 0-3 overall and 0-1 in the league.

Junior Tyler Schnaible (Ballston Lake, NY/Shenendehowa) posted the win at No. 2 singled on Saturday as he beat Elmira's Zackarie Stedge, 6-3, 6-0. With the win, Schnaible is now 2-1 in singles on the year.

Sage's home match slated for March 31 against SUNY-Delhi has been moved to taking place indoors at SUNY-Delhi for a 1 p.m. indoor match with the Broncos.
