NYU-POLY TRIUMPHS OVER SAGE IN MEN'S TENNIS ACTION, 8-1

 

Troy, NY – The Sage Colleges' men's tennis team hosted the Jays of NYU-Poly in a Skyline Conference match at Prospect Park on Saturday afternoon. NYU-Poly posted the 8-1 win to improve to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the league. Sage drops to 0-7 overall and 0-4 in the league.

At sixth singles, Sage's senior Mark Castillo (Randolph, MA/Randolph) recorded the win in three sets, besting NYU-Poly's rookie Michael Barnes, 6-3, 2-6, 10-8.

Sage's next match is on April 9 when the Gators travels to Mt. St. Mary College for a 6 p.m. Skyline Conference match.
