A newcomer to the men’s tennis program at Sage, Robert Scott arrives having excelled soccer earning varsity letters in soccer. He participated as a member of the Biggest East Competition in California and as a member of the state team (NOGA) and went to England for soccer for two months with the Olympic Development Program (ODP).

An outstanding student at Huntington High School, he was a six-time recipient of honors in numerous subjects. He was named the Suffolk Country Most Outstanding Science Student and placed third at the Long Island Science Congress, while ranking 8th nationally in the National French Examination. He was also honored for his outstanding accomplishments in art as he won four Best in Show awards in for artwork four straight years and also added a seventh place showing for robot arms at the Science Olympiad.

He is the son of Peter and Susan Scott and is majoring in clinical biology at Sage. He is a member of Sage’s Biology Club. His brother, Thomas is a competitive swimmer at Misericordia University and broke numerous school records as a freshman this year. His older brother Matt, also attended Misericordia and was a part of the men’s soccer team that won league championship titles and earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament during his career.
