Springfield, MA--- The Sage Colleges' men's tennis team travelled to Western New England University on Wednesday for a non-conference match with the Golden Bears. WNEU tallied a 9-0 win to improve to 3-4 overall, while Sage falls to 0-6.

WNEU's Chris Holzinger tallied a 6-1, 6-1 win over Sage's senior Alex Cabrera (Kingston, NY/Kingston) at first singles. For the Golden Bears, Jon Paul Ouellette tallied a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles of Sage's rookie Rob Hansen (Niskayuna, NY/Niskayuna).

The Gators return to action on Wednesday, April 12 for a 5 p.m. Skyline Conference match at Mt. St. Mary College.
