Edgewater, NJ--- The Sage Colleges' men's tennis team travelled to Yeshiva University for the team's 2012 Skyline Conference opener. The host Maccabees tallied the 9-0 win to improve to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the league. The loss puts Sage at 0-3 overall and 0-1 in the league.

For the Gators, senior Alex Cabrera (Kingston, NY/Kingston) fell 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles to YU's Zach Charles.   Cabrera teamed at No. 1doubles with rookie Rob Hansen (Niskayuna, NY/Niskayuna), but fell to Charles and Eitan Gettenberg, 8-2. Hansen had a tight match at second singles as he fell 6-3, 603 to Jeremy Seftel.
