ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College and SUNY Poly played to a scoreless draw on Wednesday night at the ACP Athletic Complex.

The non-conference game was a tightly-played and physical affair, with the squads combining for nine fouls and five yellow cards.

RSC (5-3-2) stepped up its pressure in the second half, outshooting the visiting Wildcats (5-3-3) 10-5 during the final 45 minutes. Though holding a 15-5 advantage on shots, the Gators only garnered a 5-4 one on corner kicks.

SUNY Poly sophomore goalie Ryan Primus made seven saves, while RSC junior goalie Junior goalie Tyler Brennan (Albany, NY/Shaker) (4-3-1) turned aside the lone Wildcat shot on target.

The Gators, off to their best conference start since joining the Empire 8 in 2017 (3-0-0), are in the midst of a stretch of five-straight home contests. The homestand continues on Saturday night at 7:00 pm vs. Nazareth.
