Saratoga Springs, NY—The Thoroughbreds of Skidmore College collected a 5-0 win over Sage on Tuesday night in a non-conference match. With the win, Skidmore is now 8-5-3, while Sage drops to 4-10-1. Skidmore led 2-0 at the half and by night's wrap had five different players score in the match for the Thoroughbreds.
Sage's senior goalie Michael Chiaravalloti (Torrington, CT/Oliver Wolcott) made three saves in the contest, elevating his career resume to include 194 career saves, which stands second all-time at Sage.
The Gators return to action on October 27 travelling to Elmira College for a 1 p.m. Empire 8 match with hopes of garnering a spot in the upcoming league tournament.
