Albany, NY- Sage's men's soccer squad hosted the Fighting Tigers of SUNY-Cobleskill on Wednesday night in a non-conference match. After 110 minutes of play, the game ended in a scoreless tie. Sage is now 7-4-1, while Cobleskill is now 3-8-1.

For Sage, rookie Jonathan Allen (Fort Ann, NY/Fort Ann) made his first career start and made seven saves in earning his first career solo shutout. For Cobleskill, rookie Sam Sherbacow (Minneola, FL) made eight saves and also earned the shutout win after the pair made several impressive stops despite the rainy conditions.

Next up for the Gators, they will host Utica College on October 14 at ACP's Athletic Complex at 4 p.m. in an Empire 8 match. SUNY-Cobleskill hosts NEAC foe Wells College on October 14 at 1 p.m.
