Seybolt Picks Up Second Honor Roll Recognition

Week 5 Skyline Release

NEW YORK – Sophomore River Seybolt (Seldon, NY/Longwood) was named to the week five Skyline honor roll Monday afternoon.

Seybolt recorded a season-high five points on two goals and one assist in Sage's 7-0 win on the road at Purchase. This is the forward's second honor roll recognition of the season.

The sophomore currently leads Sage (3-5-3, 1-3-1 Skyline) with six goals, two assists and 14 points. Seybolt currently sits in fifth for career points (37), fifth for goals (15) and eighth for assists (seven). The forward ranks second in the Skyline in shot (50), shots/game (4.55) and goals (six). Other statistical leaders for the Gators include Paul Reynoso (Oswego, NY/G. Ray Bodley) (two assists, .786 shot-on-goal percentage), Lai Le (Walnut, CA/Walnut) (two assists), Derlis Zayas (White Plains, NY/White Plains) (.222 shot percentage) and Caelan Kohut (Southern Pines, NC/Hudson) (43 saves, 1.27 goal-against-average, .768 save percentage).

Receiving the week five Skyline Player of the Week was Farmingdale State's Richard Mastrangelo after a pair of goals, including the game-winner against Yeshiva. Picking up co-Skyline Rookie of the Week were Julian Rodriguez of St. Joseph's- Brooklyn and Netanel Silberman of Yeshiva. Rodriguez recorded his first career shutout, and Silberman scored a pair of goals in a 3-2 win over Maritime.

Currently topping the Skyline table is Farmingdale State (6-4, 5-0 Skyline) with 15 points with Mount Saint Mary (5-5, 4-0 Skyline) and Merchant Marine (4-4-2, 4-1 Skyline) tied for second with 12 points.

The Gators get back to Skyline play Fri. Oct., 7 against Merchant Marine at 8 p.m. at the ACP Athletic Complex.
