A transfer from Hudson Valley Community College his junior year, Casey Yurista made 3 appearences for the Gators on defense. He was named to the 2014 Skyline Conference Honor Roll for his effort in the classroom.
Yurista attended Maple Hill High School, where he was a two-sport letterwinner in both men’s soccer and men’s tennis. He earned two letters in soccer and four in tennis. A First-Team Patroon Conference all-star, he was part of the 2011 state runner-up team. His soccer team also was a two-time sectional winner and a one-time regional champion.
He is majoring in biology and physical therapy at Sage and is the son of Daniel and Mary Yurista. Yurista was on the 2014 Dean's List.
