Hilton, NY – Russell Sage College's men's lacrosse rookie goalie Andrew Collora (West Babylon, NY/West Babylon) earned Empire 8 goalie of the week status on May 1. The recognition is the second citation for the Gator keeper.

The citation is the first of the year for the keeper. He was instrumental in the Gators' season finale victory as they beat Keuka, 15-11. He recorded 13 saves in the contest to close his first year on a winning note. He caps the season with a record of 6-11 in net with a 15.11 goals against average. He recorded 179 saves with a .454 saves percentage. Along the way, he added his name to the Gator single-game records with his 21saves against Utica which is second all-time in single-game saves, while twice he made 19 saves which stands fourth highest as well.

Only a freshman, he is already No. 2 with his 179 career saves at RSC. He is also ranked fifth in the Empire 8 with his 10.53 saves per game average in 2023.
