Rams halt men's lacrosse win streak on Sunday

Farmingdale, NY – Russell Sage College's men's lacrosse team wrapped a busy week facing the Rams of Farmingdale State University on Sunday. The Rams took an early lead and snapped the Gators' two-game win streak in the process. FSU (6-1) collected the 22-5 win putting RSC at 3-6.

RSC got five single goals from five different players, while three Gators added two points on a goal and an assist. Senior attacker Anthony Abreu (Monroe, NJ/Monroe Township), junior, Anthony Marrone (Monroe, NJ/Monroe Township), and freshman attackman Nate Kettle (Killbuck, NY/Salamanca) all tallied two points.

Rookie attackman Mame Diba (New York, NY/ Haldane) and sophomore Kollin Matthews (Marcy, NY/Whitesboro) each scored for the Gators.

RSC's rookie goalie Andrew Collora (West Babylon, NY/West Babylon) made the start had 11 saves in the contest, while sophomore Erik Reynolds (South Glens Falls, NY/South Glens Falls) also saw time between the pipes.

The Gators will return home on Wednesday, March 22 hosting Castleton University in a 7 p.m. non-conference match at ACP's Stadium.
