Gators Wrap Up Spring at No. 5 St. John Fisher

PITTSFORD, N.Y. –  Russell Sage College wrapped up its season by falling 29-3 this afternoon at No. 5 St. John Fisher.

Attackman Hunter Brunelle (Skaneateles, NY/Jordan-Elbridge), a grad student, topped the Gators with two goals and an assist, while freshman goalie Erik Reynolds (South Glens Falls, NY/South Glens Falls) established a career-best with 16 saves.

Junior midfielder Sean McGirr (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) also scored for RSC (6-10/1-5 E8). 

The Cardinals, (13-2/6-0 E8) coming in at No. 5 in the latest USILA Coaches National Poll, opened up a 12-0 lead after the first period. Five players registered three or more points in the home victory.

Notes: Senior attackman Bailey Martin (Syracuse, NY/Onondaga Central) (above) concluded the campaign as the program's career goal scoring leader with 58...He sits second in program records for career points with 86...Brunelle totaled a program single-season record 58 points this spring...Reynolds recorded double-digit saves for the fourth time across his rookie campaign.
