Men's Lacrosse Team Tallies 17-13 road win over Hornets

New Hampton, NH— Sage's men's lacrosse team travelled to New Hampshire on Monday night for a non-conference match-up with the Hornets of Northern Vermont University-Lyndon. Sage led 8-7 at the half and was paced by the play of freshman Eric Fairhurst (Wooster, OH/Wooster) who tallied 10 points on seven goals with three assists. Sage improves to 8-6 on the year, while NVU-Lyndon drops to 2-8.

Sage also got impressive performances from freshman midfielder Robert Martin (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) as he collected three goals and three assists, while rookie attacker Matt Fisher (Niskayuna, NY/South Colonie) added three goals and an assist.

Sage's freshman keeper Brandon Maresca (Landing, NJ/Roxbury) made 12 saves in earning the win and is now 6-5 on the year.

Sage travels to Kean University on Tuesday, April 16 for a 7 p.m. match-up with the Cougars in Union, New Jersey in a non-conference contest.
