
South Hadley, MA—The Sage Colleges' men's golf team competed in Massachusetts on the final day of the Elms College Trailblazer Invitational, a two-day tournament held at the Ledges Country Club. Husson College won the event after posting a score of 608 on rounds of 299 and 309 to take the 17-team event. Sage finished in 12th place after scoring a 689 (332-357). Husson College's Gavin Dugas was the medalist with a two-day total 143 (72-71).
Sage's sophomore Blake Pritchard (Malone, NY/Franklin Academy) finished tied for 19th after finishing with a 162 (76-86). Junior Tyler Schnaible (Ballston Lake, NY/Shenendehowa) tied for 35th overall with a 167 (82-85).
Sage's freshman Aidan O'Neil (Canajoharie, NY/Canajoharie) took home 63rd place with a two-day round of 178 (84-94). Junior Jared Almy (Howes Cave, NY/Cobleskill-Richmondville) shot a round of 90 on day one and a 92 on Sunday to finish tied for 70th with a 182.
