Sage golf team opens play at Oswego Spring Tournament

Oswego, NY – The Sage Colleges' men's golf team opened play on Saturday in the Oswego Spring Tournament, a two-day event. The host Lakers stand in first place with a score of 308, while Sage is in seventh place with a 398.

Action wraps on Sunday in the event held at Oswego Country Club.

For the Gators, rookie Blake Pritchard (Malone, NY/Franklin Academy) led the squad as he fired an 84 on the first day and is 18th.    Sophomore Tyler Schnaible (Ballston Lake, NY/Shenendehowa) posted an 88 and is in 21st place.  Sophomore Jared Almy (Howes Cave, NY/Cobleskill-Richmondville) carded a 100 and is in 31st place, while senior Ryan Guyton (Lockport, NY/Lockport) is in 32nd place with a 125 for the day.
