NEWBURGH, NY – DJ Ioele (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) leads the Gators at the Mount Saint Mary College Invitational on Friday at the Powelton Country Club.
The Gator senior captain, Ioele finished in 13th with a score of 81 on the par 70 course.
Henry Taylor (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem) and Dylan Dotterer (Craryville, NY/Taconic Hills) finished in 25th and 31st respectively.
Bringing up the rear for Sage was Sam Moquin (Watervliet, NY/Watervliet) and Mohamed Mohamed (New Britain, CT/NewBritain).
With his efforts this fall, Ioele became the first individual qualifier after posting a combined scoring average of 81.3 for the fall. He has qualified for the upcoming 2015 Skyline Conference Championship and will compete on October 18 and 19 at the event at Brynwood Golf & Country Club in Armonk, NY.
