Guilderland, NY---The Sage Colleges' men's golf team competed on Friday and Saturday at the Saint Rose Fall Shootout at Pinehaven Country Club, a par 71, 6,496 yard course. The lone Division III competitor in the tournament, Sage picked up a tie for 12th place after shooting a two-day total of 708. Sage posted a first-round score of 368 and shot a round of 340 on Saturday. Southern New Hampshire picked  the team tournament crown after carding a 303 on opening day and a 304 on day two.

Sage's seniors Zach Sullivan (Ballston Spa, NY/Burnt Hill-Ballston Lake) finished in a tie for 17th place after shooting a 156 on rounds of 79 and 77. Senior DJ Ioele (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) added a 38th place showing after shooting 84 on the opening day and an 81 on the final day for a 156.

Sophomore Henry Taylor (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem)  combined for 195 to take 63rd place for the event on rounds of 97 and 98.  Sophomore Sam Moquin (Watervliet, NY/Watervliet) posted a round of 108 on day one and finished with a 101 and finished in 64th.  Sophomore Kevin Johnston (Gloversville, NY/Gloversville) shot a round of 84 after competing on Saturday only for the Gators.

Sage returns to action on October 15 travelling the Purchase College Invitational at Brynwood Country Club (Armonk, NY).
