Delhi, NY – The Sage Colleges' men's golf team competed on Saturday and Sunday at the SUNY-Delhi Bronco Invitational, held at The College Golf Course, a par 72 course. The host Broncos won the event with a two-day score of 600, just two strokes ahead of the Delhi-B team which shot a 602. The Gators posted a two-day total of 651, taking for fourth place in a field of seven teams.
Sage shot a day one total of 325 and closed the event with a 326.

Leading the way for Sage was rookie Kevin Johnston (Gloversville, NY/Gloversville) who posted a 155 to tie for 11th place on rounds of 76-79.
Senior captain Richie Christman (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) was next for Sage with a 160 (79-81) and finished in a tie for 15th place with team mate, senior Zach Sullivan (Ballston Spa, NY/Burnt Hill-Ballston Lake) who shot a 160 as well (78-82).
Junior D.J. Ioele (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) finished in a tie for 25th place with a 176 (92-84).
Also competing for the Gators were seniors Sarah MacArthur (Ancram, NY/Taconic Hills) and Jennifer Zoufaly (Latham, NY/Shaker). MacArthur shot a 222 (113-109), while Zoufaly added a 228 on a round of 117 and a final day showing of 111.
Next up for the Gators is the Sage Spring Invitational on Monday, April 21 at 12:30 p.m. with a shot gun start at the Van Schaick Island Country Club.
