Osowicki shoots 76 on opening day for Gators at Saint Rose Fall Shootout

Guilderland, NY----  The Sage Colleges men's golf team opened the new season on
Friday competing at the Saint Rose Fall Shootout at the Pinehaven Country Club. Sage
is tied for fourth after the first of two days of competition at the 6,496 yard, par 71 course.

Division II Bentley leads the way at the 11-team event with a 306 for the action, while
Sage is tied for fourth with a score of 313 on Friday.
Pacing the Sage team was senior 

Nick Osowicki (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) as
he shot a 76 for the day and stands tied for seventh. Sophomore Zach Meade
(Tupper Lake, NY/Tupper Lake)
and junior Dan Schulz (Broadalbin, NY/Broadalbin
Perth)
each carded a 78 and stand tied for 18 th place. Junior captain Ian Pingelski
(Cohoes, NY/Cohoes)
shot an 81 and is tied for 31 st. Sophomore Rich Christman
(Johnstown, NY/Johnstown)
posted an 89 to round out the Gators on the first day
of the season.
