Pairings set for Skyline Conference Semifinals

Albany, NY— The Sage College's women's basketball team, which won the 2016 Skyline Conference regular-season championship and earned the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament will host the semifinals on Thursday, February 25. Sage will host the Knights of Mt. St. Mary College which advanced with a 71-52 win over Farmingdale State College in the first round. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. on February 25 in Kahl Gym at 6 p.m.

The Gator women own an unprecedented 20-win campaign and are 20-5 on the year and captured the Skyline Conference championship previously in 2014.

Sage's men's team, which garnered the No. 2 seed in the Skyline Tournament earned a first-round bye and will face the Bears of St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn in the semifinals, also on February 25 in Kahl Gym with an 8 p.m. tip-off. The Bears topped Farmingdale State 78-75 in the first round on Tuesday night to advance.

Sage's men's team, which won the 2015 Skyline Conference Tournament brings a record of 16-9 into the contest as they look to defend the crown and once again punch their ticket to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Tickets for the 2016 Skyline Conference Tournament are free for any Sage or Skyline Conference member institution with ID, while children under 12 are also free. Adult admission is $5.
