Sage men's basketball ranked in NCAA regional rankings; Gators 6th in Atlantic Region

Indianapolis, IN---The Sage Colleges' men's basketball team earned the first NCAA regional ranking in the program's six year history today. The Gators are ranked No. 6 in the NCAA Atlantic Region released on February 19.

Now 20-4 and 14-3 in the Skyline Conference, Sage is in action this evening travelling to Sarah Lawrence College for the final regular-season contest of the year. The Gators own an 8-game win streak and have already clinched the top seed in the upcoming Skyline Conference Championship. Sage has recieved a first-round bye and will host a semifinal contest on Thursday, February 26 in Kahl Gym at a time to be determined.

The Gators ar breaking records every time they step on the hardwood. This year's team shattered the mark for most wins in a season overall and in the Skyline, while also breaking the mark for longest win streak.

Additionally, senior tri-captain Kai Deans (Miami, FL/Monsignor Pace) has scored a record 416 points this year, while fellow tri-captain Jacob Sopchak (Rhinebeck, NY/Rhinebeck) continues to add to his career record for most blocked shots with 107.
