Four Gators finish in double-digits as Sage beats SJC, 83-73

Patchogue, NY –The Sage College's men's basketball team travelled to St. Joseph's College (LI) for a Skyline Conference match-up. Sage posted an 83-73 win to extend their win streak to four gamed and are now 10-3 overall and 6-2 in the league. St. Joe's drops to 8-6 overall and 5-2 in the league.

Sage led 30-16 at the break and with Saturday's victory, have now won eight of their last 10 contests.

Sage's senior forward Kai Deans (Miami, FL/Monsignor Pace) finished with a team-high 19 points and added 12 rebounds with three blocked shots. He hit 8-of-11 shots from the floor in the contest. On the year, Deans has scored 241 points and has finished as the high scorer eight times. Junior Melvin Ford (Voorhees, NJ/Eastern Regional) added 18 points and 11 rebounds and now has a team-best 115 rebounds this year.

Junior guard Andre Robinson (Fort Pierce, FL/Fort Pierce Westwood) added 11 points, while junior Jorrdan McCray (Orlando, FL/Wekiva) tallied 10 points,

Sage returns to action on Jan. 20 hosting MCLA at 7 p.m. in a non-conference match-up at Kahl Gym.
