Gators best Yeshiva behind Deans and Ullman's efforts

New York, NY – The Sage Colleges' men's basketball team traveled to Yeshiva University on Saturday night for a Skyline Conference contest. The Gators posted a 63-44 win to improve to 11-8 overall and 7-5 in the conference, while Yeshiva drops to 6-10 overall and 4-6 in the league.

Junior Kai Deans (Miami, FL/Monsignor Pace) added a game-high 22 points as he made 11-of-15 shots from the floor and team-best eight rebounds in the action, with two blocked shots. Rookie Brett Ullman (Sharon Springs, NY/Sharon Springs Central) 11 points to tie his personal-best and was 3-4 from three-point range.

Sage held a 39-29 edge on the boards, while Yeshiva was held to a 31.0% shooting effort from the floor and just 33.3% from beyond the arch.

Yeshiva's Benjy Ritholtz racked up 11 points and eight rebounds for the Maccabees.

The Gators will be back in action on February 4 travelling to NYU-Poly for a 7 p.m. Skyline Conference contest.
