Pittsford, NY – Russell Sage College's field hockey team travelled to St. John Fisher University on Saturday for an Empire 8 match-up with the Cardinals. SJFU posted the 10-0 win to move to 7-9 overall with a record of 6-2 in the league. RSC drops to 1-13 overall and 0-8 in the league.

In goal for the Gators, rookie Jaia Caron (Bellows Falls, VT/Bellows Falls Union) made four saves in the action for the Gators.  

The Gators return to action on October 29 travelling to Emira College for their final Empire 8 match. The start time is p.m.
