ONEONTA, N.Y. – Russell Sage College's field hockey team traveled to Hartwick College on Wednesday afternoon for an Empire 8 match-up with the Hawks. Hartwick triumphed 9-0 and improves to 5-4 overall and 4-0 in the league, while the loss puts RSC at 0-8 overall and 0-4 in the league.

Hartwick jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first quarter and led 7-0 at the intermission. Eight different players scored in the contest, while Ashley Tricarico scored twice in the game.
RSC's sophomore goalkeeper Anna Church (Ludlow, VT/Green Mountain Union) Church, who ranks 12^th nationally in Division III with her 9.714 saves per game average, recorded 10 saves in the contest.

The Gators are back in action at home on Friday night, October 7 hosting Nazareth in an E8 contest set to begin at UAlbany at 6:00 p.m. Prior to the game, the Gators will honor their seniors in conjunction with Senior Night.
