Schenectady, NY. –Union College hosted the Gators in a non-conference field hockey match on Wednesday evening. Union jumped out to a 9-0 lead at the half as they collected the victory. Union moves to 8-1 this fall.

Rookie keeper Jaia Caron (Bellows Falls, VT/Bellows Falls Union) made seven saves in 30 minutes of work. Sophomore Anna Church (Ludlow, VT/Green Mountain Union) made one save in the second half of play for the Gators.

The Gators return to action on October 2 hosting Washington and Jefferson College in a 3:30 p.m. Empire 8 contest to be held at the University at Albany.
