Six RSC Field Hockey Players Saluted by NFHCA

BROCKPORT, N.Y. Russell Sage College's field hockey program had six student-athletes honored by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association in conjunction with their slate of academic awards.  Over 2,300 student-athletes from 161 Division III institutions have been named to the 2021 NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad.

The NFHCA National Academic Squad program, sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, honors collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year, and were nominated by their NFHCA member coach.

Johns Hopkins University led all institutions with the most National Academic Squad selections this year, placing 31 student-athletes on the list.

Appearing on the list for the fourth time are 323 student-athletes — seniors or fifth-year student-athletes who are four-year honorees have been distinguished in the award listing.

RSC's field hockey program had six student-athletes named to the team. They include
