Albany, NY — St. John Fisher College's graduate player Bre Socker (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) exploded for five goals to lift her team to a 7-0 Empire 8 win on Friday evening over Russell Sage College. The five goals for Socker ties her own Empire 8 record as the Cardinals improve to 4-5 overall and 2-0 in the Empire 8. Socker is now tied for the E8 the most career goals, while with five points on Friday she broke the league's career point mark along the way with 205 points, bettering the old standard that had been in place with 199 points.

While the Gators did not manage a goal in the contest, RSC's senior goalie Abigayle Greier (Elma, NY/Iroquois Central) made 14 saves in the action and drops to 1-8 in goal. She adds to her active career saves mark with 367 saves.

RSC is back in action on October 3 hosting Hartwick College in an 11 a.m. matchup to be held at Afrims Sports Complex.
