Baseball drops slug-fest to Skidmore

Saratoga Springs, NY – Skidmore College posted the 15-11 win over Russell Sage College in a non-conference baseball game on Wednesday. The contest featured 25 hits with six doubles, and three homeruns. Skidmore improves to 20-13, while RSC falls to 15-19. There were three lead changes and a tie in the game.

Sophomore short stop Zachary Figueras (Apolka, FL/Windermere) added a double with two RBI's and was 3-for-5 at the plate. Sophomore outfielder Leandro Guzman (New Britain, CT/New Britain) was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and an RBI.  Brendan Espinal (Clifton Park, NY/ Shenendehowa) had three stolen bases to add to the game's action for the Gators.

RSC will travel to Houghton University to open a three-game Empire 8 series with the Highlanders on April 28.
